Q+A

What do you recommend a bride bring to their hair/makeup trial?

Inspiration photos for hair and makeup for sure! If needed, bring your clip-in extensions and any hair accessories, plus it never hurts to bring your veil if you are wanting to discuss placement. If you already have your wedding day lip color, you are absolutely welcome to bring it with you!

Are lashes included in makeup services?

YES! False lashes are included when you book a makeup service!

What foundation do you use?

Both airbrush and traditional foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation + Dior)! Our team guarantees that our foundations are customizable in coverage/shade and maintain a 20-hour wear!

How should our hair be on the morning of the wedding? Does the bridal party need to prep their hair to maintain the style throughout the day?

We ask that you arrive with clean and dry hair please! Our artists are serious about luxury beauty products which is why we only use tried and trusted hair care brands! As long as you arrive with clean + dry hair, you can leave it to us and our products to prep your hair for all day wear!

Do you suggest dermaplaning? If so, how soon before your wedding day?

You know your skin best, but dermaplaning is a great way to exfoliate your skin! Our bridal beauty experts recommend refraining from any new treatments the week of your wedding, just in case you experience any redness or irritation!

What makes your day easier and more efficient with a big group of girls?

Everyone arriving with clean + dry hair as well as a clean face with no makeup! We also ask that your girls are present and ready for us at the agreed start time to allow ample time for each service! Feel free to bring any inspiration to best describe your desired look!

What brand of clip in extensions do you recommend? Can you add hair inserts to help make an updo look fuller?

We highly recommend BFB Hair clip-in extensions! Yes absolutely, we are happy to place your extensions to add volume + fullness to your desired look!

What brand of clip in extensions do you recommend? Can you add hair inserts to help make an updo look fuller?

Do you recommend tape-in extensions or clip in extensions for fullness?

Both can achieve the same look! Clip-in extensions are normally worn a day at a time while tape-in/hand-tied extensions are semi-permanent, so it just depends what you are looking for maintenance wise!

How should I prepare my skin for makeup application?

All of our artists prep your skin (using a trusted moisturizer, primer, etc) before applying your makeup! You are welcome to apply a lightweight spf if desired after washing with a gentle cleanser!

What is your pre-wedding beauty routine involving facials, cosmetic procedures, etc?

Our advice is to be kind to your skin using gentle cleansers, a moisturizer and sunscreen! We don’t recommend trying new procedures or treatments the week of your wedding to avoid irritation. Facials are great, but there are many options! We recommend consulting your dermatologist/licensed esthetician on your skin type + appropriate timeline to help choose which treatment would be best for you!

What is your booking process?

First, we give you a quote based on your venue, timeline and services needed. To book and secure your date, we require a 50% deposit of your total amount due a week after receiving your formal proposal and contract. Your final amount is due one month prior to your date! Any other questions we didn’t answer? Just let us know! We can’t wait to help your wedding look dreams come true!!
